Help us welcome Angie Goodwin to the staff at St. Thomas More! Angie will join us in her new role as Coordinator of Youth Ministry and Communication full time in October.
Angie was raised on a small farm south of Wellman, Iowa and was previously the Marketing and Fundraising Director at the YMCA of Washington County. Angie has been involved in a variety of roles serving her community, state and country. As the mother of a special needs daughter, she has been actively involved with the Brain Injury Alliance of Iowa and is a member of the Mid-Prairie Alumni & Friends Association. Angie is a parish member and part time staff member of the Holy Family Parish in Riverside, Richmond, and Wellman where she oversees Vacation Bible School, Faith Formation and Youth Ministry as well as serving as a board member for CEW.
Angie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is an avid Hawkeye fan! She is looking forward to continuing to dive into the community at St. Thomas More. Many of our youth and parish will recognize Angie from her work during the last two youth retreats that St. Thomas More has hosted (NCYC 2.0 and WOW), various parish service projects, as well as her help with VBS the past two summers. Angie will begin to teach Confirmation class and youth group this fall!
