Spreading Warmth & Compassion       

On March 10, STM Franciscan Associates Judy Frits, Mary Merchant, and Ann Elsbecker delivered 17 no-sew fleece blankets to the Iowa City Ronald McDonald House. These blankets were lovingly assembled by Dubuque Franciscan, Presentation, and BVM associates as a gift of comfort for families staying at the house while their children receive medical care.

Pictured with COO Constance Mithelman, the blankets represent more than just warmth — they are a reminder of the compassion, prayer, and support our faith community shares with families during difficult times. Thank you to everyone who helped create these blankets and continue to live out the Gospel through acts of kindness and service.
