What is Stewardship?

Stewardship is a way of life—recognizing that everything we have is a gift from God and responding with gratitude by sharing our time, talent, and treasure in service to Him and others. At St. Thomas More, we believe stewardship is more than financial giving; it’s about deepening our faith and strengthening our parish family through active participation.

Stewardship calls us to embrace a spirit of generosity and service. We invite you to get involved in ways that align with your gifts and passions:

Time: Grow in Faith

• Participate in Mass regularly
• Spend time in prayer and reflection
• Join a Bible study or small faith group
• Pray for those in need

Talent: Serve Others

• Volunteer in a parish ministry (liturgical, music, hospitality, outreach, faith formation)
• Use your skills to support parish initiatives and events
• Help with service projects and community outreach

Treasure: Give Generously

• Support the parish financially through offertory gifts
• Contribute to special collections and charitable causes
• Consider planned giving to ensure the future of our parish

Ways to Get Involved

•  Liturgical Ministries – Be a lector, Eucharistic minister, altar server, or usher
• Music Ministry – Share your musical talents in choir or instrumental groups
• Hospitality & Welcome – Greeters, coffee & donuts team, newcomer outreach
• Faith Formation – Teach or assist in youth & adult faith education programs
• Service & Outreach – Join our social justice efforts, meal ministries, or care for the homebound
