HOLY THURSDAY ALTAR OF REPOSE PILGRIMAGE

"Could you not watch with me one hour?"

On Holy Thursday, we are invited into something deeply personal—
to stay with Jesus… to sit in His presence… to keep watch with Him.

After the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, the Blessed Sacrament is carried in procession to the Altar of Repose, recalling Jesus’ journey to the Garden of Gethsemane. This is a sacred opportunity to step away from the noise, enter into silence, and simply be with Him.

Whether you visit one church or make a pilgrimage to several, this is a beautiful way to walk with Christ in His hour of love, surrender, and sacrifice.
