-Our parish picnic is next Sunday. Plan to join us between 12 noon and 2:00 p.m. on the lower-level patio for a catered meal and lawn games. During that time you’ll also have a chance to view the designs our own new church, visit with architects, and ask any questions you may have.

-You are invited to an Ecumenical Prayer Service of Lament, Hope, and Healing (tomorrow) (today) at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church sponsored by local Stephen Ministries. 

-A Pancake breakfast is taking place Sunday in the lower level from 9:00 am until 1 pm. It’s free to those who give a blood drive donation. Otherwise, its free-will donation.

-Bishop Thomas R. Zinkula of the Davenport Diocese is inviting business leaders from the area to a discussion on businesses' role in achieving a more sustainable future. This lunch event will be hosted by St. Patrick parish on Tuesday, August 24.  Please see our parish Facebook page for registration information.

-High school and Jr High youth will be offering to wash your car after mass today.  Cost is a free-will donation.
