Announcements for February 4th & 5th 2023

-Do you want to learn more about the Jewish faith? Would you like to learn how we as Catholics can be more supportive of our Jewish brothers and sisters? Join us next Sunday, February 12 at 2:00 p.m. on the church lower level for a conversation between Rabbi Esther Hugenholtz of the Coralville Synagogue and St. Thomas More parishioner, Mary Lu Callahan as they enter into a faith dialogue. This early afternoon event will leave plenty of time to prepare for the Super Bowl afterward. Please join us in this important discussion.

-The Annual Catholic Messenger Drive has already begun. If you have not turned in your subscription for the newspaper of the Diocese of Davenport, please do so soon. Cost is $30 to receive the paper every week for a year. Envelopes are in your offertory packet.

- Mardi Gras Raffle tickets to raise funds for youth to attend the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis, are being sold after mass. For a chance to win a $500 prize and two smaller prizes. Purchase a ticket is $25 or five tickets for $100.

-Mardi Gras, will take place Sunday, Feb. 19th and in addition to the raffle will feature Silent Auction Baskets, A Belgian Waffle breakfast, Carnival games, Coloring Contest and much more. Coloring sheets are located near the Kiosk. Your child’s finished coloring sheet can be dropped off in the coat closet. Please plan to join us for this year’s "Mardi Gras!"
