STEPHEN MINISTRY – Commissioning Rite October 7th
Seven new Stephen Ministers: Jonathan Berger, Terry Conner, Karen Grajczyk, Nancy Hanson, Joan Ochs, Patty Rossmann, and Freyja Stoltz soon will complete the required 50-hr training course that began last Spring. They are the 6th group here at STM to learn the essential knowledge and skills to offer distinctively Christian, one-to-one, confidential care to any adult grieving from a loss or other difficulties.
Join us for their commissioning rite by Father Chuck on October 7that the 11 AM Mass.
With the commissioning of these new caregivers, STM will have 39 parishioners (both active and inactive) in the Stephen Ministry. Our expanded numbers allow us to provide more one-to-one care to those in need. We encourage you to reach out to our referral coordinators (contact information is on page 2) to see if our Stephen Ministry might provide caring support to you or someone you know who is going through a difficult time.
