---The diocese wants everyone to be aware of fraudulent GoFundMe pages for 1.4 million nonprofit organizations, including churches and dioceses, without their permission. Unfortunately, this has impacted some parishes, schools, and ministries within the Diocese of Davenport. The diocese does not use GoFundMe to collect donations for any purpose. If you make on-line donations, please be sure you do so through the official and secure online platforms found on the diocesan website so as to ensure that every gift reaches its intended purpose.
---Thank you to all who have pledged to the Annual Diocesan Appeal. As of this week, total pledges from our parish total $98,000. That’s about 61% of our overall goal of $161,000. Please help us achieve our goal by returning your ADA pledge to the diocese, envelopes and information to pledge are on the table by the Kiosk in the Gathering Space.
---Our parish is participating in a Secret Santa Service Project. Please see the bulletin announcement or visit our website, for Kim Novak's contact information.
----After mass, the Church Life/Family Life Commission will be available with information and to answer questions on how you may become involved. The commission provides a variety of fun activities for all ages that welcome, engage, support and build our parish community.
Their many activities include Euchre nights, funeral luncheons, knitting/crocheting prayer shawls, embroidering bibs to present to the newly baptized and coffee and donuts after Sunday masses and much more. They are always looking for individuals to assist with building a stronger parish through food, fellowship, fun and new ideas. Come visit their table as you leave today. (8:30 and 11:00 only) Please join us for coffee, doughnuts, and fellowship in the Gathering Space after mass today.
---Now as we prepare for mass, please stand and greet those around you, introducing yourself to new members and visitors.
