2020-2021 Religious Education Classes K-8

This fall, due to COVID-19, we will be offering a family-based faith formation program. This consists of a monthly theme {Sept.-May} with a few 15-20 minute “mini-lessons” for each theme. The lessons, to be completed together as a family & led by parents at home, may include a variety of resources including video, discussion, prayer, Scripture, an activity, song, stories, as well as supplemental materials for All Saints Day, Advent, Lent, and more.

To be part of the K-8 family-based faith formation program, please click on the link below! The tuition for the program is $100 per family & both registration form/tuition are due Monday, Aug. 31. Once registered, more information will be sent to you, including the lessons/theme for the month of September. As a reminder, all children preparing for the Sacraments of Reconciliation & 1st Eucharist must be registered in the family-based faith formation program.  If you have questions, please contact DRE Shannon Duffy at [email protected] or 319-337-4231.

Please prayerfully consider helping our youth grow in their faith by volunteering to be a catechist, team catechist, catechist assistant, or a substitute.  There are opportunities available at each grade level (K – 8th grade) and stipends will be available.  All of our volunteers must complete a background check and online Safe Environment Training.

Please contact the Religious Education Department at 319-337-4231 or [email protected] for more information or to volunteer!
